The Parish of Bacton
The parish is a rural area of Mid Suffolk centred on the village of Bacton, and also includes the settlements of Earl's Green, Bacton Green,Canham's Green, Cow Green and Ford's Green. There are also three registered village greens within Bacton village at Tailor's Green, Shop Green and Cow Green.
Within the Parish we have 41 'Grade II', and 2 'Grade II*' listed buildings (according to the National Heritage List for England 2018).
The Parish Council operates a number of facilities and services on behalf of the residents of the parish, as described on the 'Our Services' page. Other services such as refuse collection, highway repairs, etc. are operated by either Mid Suffolk District Council or Suffolk County Council. The Parish Clerk will be happy to advise.
