Meetings of the Council

Meetings of the Parish Council usually take place in Bacton Village Hall, starting at 7.00pm (unless otherwise advertised) The dates of future meetings are displayed below.

Agendas are published here (using the drop down menu for the year, above) in the middle of the week preceding a meeting as well as on village noticeboards. Draft minutes are published in the same way, within 30 days of each meeting.

Members of the public are welcome to attend meetings and there is time set aside at every meeting when residents and other village stakeholders may ask questions about or comment on matters on the agenda. Depending on the nature of your question and the time available, your questions may be answered at the meeting or afterwards in writing. You may also suggest matters for future consideration by the Council.

The public forum is normally set near the beginning of the agenda so that if you comment on an item of business on the agenda the Council can take your comments into consideration.

If you would like to make a written representation, rather than attending in person, please email or write to the Clerk to the Parish Council.

Meeting dates are confirmed at the Annual Meeting in May of each year, for the rest of that administrative year. Occasionally extra dates may be added and these will be published on this site and on noticeboards in the village.

Dates of meetings for the current administrative year are:

2024:

8th January 2024

12th February 2024

11th March 2024

8th April 2024
